The spirit speaker

The spirit speaker is a mysterious canine that appears ever winter solecist inside the stones of Stone Henge. It howls once and traces the land hailing the stones looking for a victim. Once that victim is found the beast swiftly kills them and takes them to the centre of Stone Henge. This unfortunate human is placed there and the beast offers them as a sacrifice, once the blood is used in the sacred ritual it drips into crevices beneath. The beast snarls a crude smile and then disperses back to where it came from. This has repeated every year since the legend began but yet still no one knows why. (Fiction story, I may finish).
